The “Harmony Realized” campaign is live! San Diego is gonna love this! The word on the street is that 2012 Chevrolet Volts are already hot ticket in town with the Low Emissions Package and California’s green HOV lane sticker! These Electric Car drivers also qualify for a $1,500 state rebate on top of the Volt’s federal tax credit of up to $7,500. Enjoy the ad by BigBike Group (SSShhhh… We’re not shy about Mobile ads… We’re the Chasm Crossing Ad agency).

Ok, so General Motors just announced that it is going to relaunch the Chevrolet Volt. General Motors says it plans to relaunch a marketing, PR and advertising campaign for its extended-range electric Volt in the next 30 to 60 days, according to GM CEO Dan Akerson, who made the remarks in a press conference at the Common Wealth Club. Now while the GM’s brain trust works all waking hours to recast their long-term strategy, BigBike Group in the meantime is proud to launch an integrated mobile ad campaign with a local San Diego Dealer that seeks to sell more Volts than all the rest. The campaign, “Harmony Realized™”, reflects real consumer-led sentiment and is a message designed to cross “The Chasm” in the adoption curve. Electric cars have a place in San Diego’s lexicon and Harmony is what we personally seek here everyday. BigBike’s Lead Designer said it best: “It tells a story. In seeing the good in life (no matter what others beliefs may be) harmony will be realized. Something along those lines is how I see the ad.” We wish we could have premiered it at SXSW. Oh well.
